The incident, which occurred on Youngs Crossing Road in Joyner on a recent afternoon, has prompted a significant police response, including the deployment of specialised units.

The drama unfolded around 3pm AEST when a white Kia Picanto, believed to be fitted with stolen number plates, reportedly collided with the rear of a police car.
